The 58th edition of Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris closed its doors on February 4 after three particularly intense days of activity for the 1,100 exhibitors at the Paris-Le-Bourget Exhibition Centre. Once again, the trade show confirmed its role as the world’s leading sourcing platform serving international buyers.

‘Crucial for sourcing’ why buyers plan to return for Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Spring Edition 2026

From 11 – 13 March 2026, Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Spring Edition will return to National Exhibition and Convention Center, with a strong lineup of exhibitors set to present new products and collections. As one of the region’s key platforms for home textile trade, the fair attracts numerous buyers each spring who rely on the show to refresh assortments across contract spaces and every corner of the home, from bedroom and bathroom to living, dining, and outdoor. According to the 2025 visitor questionnaire, 94% of buyers – including both domestic and overseas participants – plan to return in 2026, underscoring the fair’s role as a trusted meeting point to reconnect with established partners while discovering new materials, designs, and concepts that will shape the seasons ahead.

Pets in fashion: functional and sustainable textiles find new market at Intertextile Apparel

China’s pet economy is booming, especially amongst younger generations, and pet apparel – from designer outfits to functional garments – was a RMB 3.5 billion (over USD 500 million) market in 2024, growing more than 20% annually¹. To help exhibitors harness this trend, Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Spring Edition 2026 will launch the Pet Boutique, presenting a range of innovative, sustainable materials that prioritise both functionality and comfort for pets. The display area will be adjacent to a larger, restructured Functional Lab, with both that zone and Econogy Hub showcasing textiles that tie ‘eco’ with technical performance, a strong focus in the global market. This spring, over 3,000 exhibitors will unveil the season’s innovations across 190,000 sqm at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai.
