In view of the easing of pandemic restriction policies in China, the Spring Editions of Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, Yarn Expo and Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles have been moved to the new timeslot of 28 – 30 March 2023. This will allow both local and international fairgoers more time to prepare for their participation, with a higher industry turnout now expected at the three fairs. The fairs will still be located at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai where they were originally due to be held from 8 – 10 March.
JIAM 2022 OSAKA concludes successfully; new technological and business dominate agenda
Japan International Apparel Machinery & Textile Industry Trade Show (JIAM) has wrapped up four successful days of business at INTEX OSAKA. From 30 November – 3 December 2022, a total of 10,452 visitors found their way to the fairground. Assembling again for the first time since the pandemic began, 150 exhibitors (domestic: 112, overseas: 38) from 11 different countries and regions welcomed visitors with an extensive and diverse selection of products. Buyers from Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, South Korea, and Pakistan constituted the top five visiting countries (excluding Japan), compensating for a drop in visitors from China this year due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.

Heimtextil from 11 - 14 January 2022 is cancelled
Against the background of the worsening pandemic situation in Germany over the past two weeks and the associated restrictions, Heimtextil, scheduled to take place in the second week of January, is cancelled. Messe Frankfurt is working with the industry to determine whether and in what form a new offering in the summer of 2022 can be organised to run parallel to the Techtextil/Texprocess trade fair duo. Later events such as Ambiente, Christmasworld, Creativeworld, Paperworld and Frankfurt Fashion Week are still planning to take place at the present time.

The second edition of Cinte Techtextil China to take place since the post-pandemic recovery began was once again strongly appreciated by exhibitors and buyers for providing the opportunity to conduct business face-to-face from 22 – 24 June. The new Techtextil Digital Days online platform was also highly praised for connecting exhibitors with buyers unable to be at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in-person. This edition marked the first time the fair took place on an annual basis, having been held biennially previously, with 366 exhibitors participating and 14,868 visits recorded.

Cinte Techtextil China’s first annual and second hybrid edition on schedule for 22 – 24 June
Taking place from 22 – 24 June at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, this year’s Cinte Techtextil China marks the first edition since the fair switched from a biennial to an annual event. And following the success of last year’s hybrid fair, exhibitors and visitors unable to attend the in-person event in Shanghai will be able to participate virtually with a range of options available.
Techtextil India: First hybrid edition moves to November 2021
India’s leading trade fair in technical textiles, nonwovens and composites, originally scheduled in September 2021, has now been postponed to 25 – 27 November 2021. On account of the developments around the current Covid-19 situation and its relative impact on the safety, well-being and continuance of business, Messe Frankfurt India has taken this decision in consultation with industry stakeholders.
Leading exhibitions postponed due to new lockdown guidelines
In line with the recent announcements and new measures in place to tackle resurging cases in Mumbai, Industry leading shows such as Gartex Texprocess India, Screen Print India, ISH India powered by IPA, Media Expo and LED Expo have been rescheduled.
Texcare France will be held from Saturday 25 to Monday 27 November 2023 in a new national format at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center in Paris.
Texcare Asia & China Laundry Expo (TXCA & CLE) to take place in 2023
Previously scheduled to be held from 17 – 19 November 2022 in Ningbo, following rising Covid-19 cases in the country the organisers have decided to defer the fair to 2023 in Shanghai. The decision was made to prioritise the safety of fairgoers, and to support the government’s pandemic containment measures.
Texcare Asia & China Laundry Expo (TXCA & CLE) 2022 going ahead in November
After its deferral earlier this year, the fair will now be held from 17 – 19 November 2022 at the Ningbo International Conference & Exhibition Center, and will help the laundry industry reconnect following the pandemic-related pause. Covering 10,000 sqm of floor space, the show is expected to welcome over 130 exhibitors from China, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK, and the US, as well as around 15,000 visitors.
Texcare Asia & China Laundry Expo 2022 moving to Ningbo
In an effort to safeguard ongoing business development and support in-person interactions for the laundry textile care industry, the organisers have made the decision to move Texcare Asia & China Laundry Expo (TXCA & CLE) 2022 to Ningbo. Originally scheduled to take place from 11 – 13 August at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, the 2022 fair will now be held from 28 – 30 September at the Ningbo International Conference & Exhibition Center.
Next date for Texcare International in November 2024
From 9 to 13 November 2024, manufacturers of laundry and dry-cleaning technology will once again meet in person with textile-care companies at the Frankfurt Exhibition Centre for Texcare International. Messe Frankfurt and its partners have agreed on this date.
Leading suppliers of textile-care technology cancel their participation – Texcare International will not take place in 2021
Leading suppliers of laundry and dry-cleaning technology have used the free cancellation deadline offered by Messe Frankfurt against the background of the pandemic and cancelled their participation in Texcare International 2021 shortly before expiry. In view of this the Advisory Council of the world’s leading textile-care fair have voted to cancel Texcare International for this year because its success can no longer be guaranteed.
