Industrias Ponsa has been manufacturing polypropylene yarn since 1974. Throughout this time there is constantly invested in technology and research, achieving one of the highest quality yarns available on the market today.

Industrias Ponsa has developed a textured filament called COSLAN® based on Polypropylene. With the same “touch” as cotton and with the advantages of Polypropylene being more sustainable and 100% recyclable.

• INFRARED TREATMENT
On the tape an IR treatment can be applied, adapting the curvature needed for infrared. Ponsa is specialists in technical textiles for security forces, armies, etc.

• SUBLIMATION
Through sublimation, high quality can be printed like mimetized designs on technical webbings. The design department can elaborate and adapt the designs, according to your needs.

RECYCLED PP

The characteristics of the resulting product are comparable to those of the virgin product, you can obtain a product (fabric, tape or thread with 30% -50% recycled material). Some colors cannot be obtained with recycled material since recycled PP is not white. Circular economy: PP can be recycled as many times as you like.

BIODEGRADABLE PP

This PP degrades after 900 days outdoors, its properties are similar to normal or virgin PP. The applications are those of any textile product that is intended to have a life of max 3 years and then disappear into the environment.

COMPOSTABLE
A fiber degrades at the same rate as the materials that come from the transformation of natural products. This fact makes the become fertilizer for agricultural soil. Ecological webbings are the future.

COTTON

Cotton is a totally vegetable fiber, which due to its soft touch makes its main market for clothing.

RECYCLED PES

Polyester can be recycled, especially from PET bottles. It is available in High tenacity and also textured. All the properties of the recycled yarn are similar to those of the virgin product.

Industrias Ponsa manufactures technical textile webbings which we could describe as specials, due to its use in very specific and concrete applications.

• Dyneema ® is the most resistant fiber on the market, based on polyethylene UHMPE (Ultra High Molecular PE).
• Kevlar ® – Twaron ® – Technora ®  Of great mechanical resistance and resistant to heat. It is used in high quality applications in industrial sectors.
• Nomex ® and Kermel®. Due to its high resistance to heat and abrasion, it is ideal for industrial sectors where these factors influence the use of webbings.
