Messe Frankfurt and Souzlegprom are to sign a Letter of Intent over their strategic partnership at Heimtextil 2017, the international trade fair for home and contract textiles

On January 11, 2017 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, Messe Frankfurt and the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs for theTextile and Light Industry (Souzlegprom) will sign a Letter of Intent over their Strategic Partnership.

On January 11, 2017 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, Messe Frankfurt and the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs for theTextile and Light Industry (Souzlegprom) will sign a Letter of Intent over their Strategic Partnership.

The signing ceremony will take place at the largest international trade fair for home and contract textiles, Heimtextil, organized by Messe Frankfurt.

The aim of the Letter of Intent is to strengthen the Russian textile and light industry by means of a full-scale cooperation between Messe Frankfurt and Souzlgprom, including potential organization of joint projects in Russia and abroad.

Within the Letter of Intent, the parties plan to agree on, develop and implement a number of actions that are supposed to help Russian companies dealing with the textile and light industry to develop their activities both in Russia and abroad. The parties plan to unite forces to attract Russian companies to professional textile trade fairs, organized by Messe Frankfurt around the world as individual exhibitors or within national pavilions, among other projects.

Messe Frankfurt and Souzlegprom will also announce their cooperation within the biggest congress-exhibition event “Russian Textile Week” (www.textileweek.ru) that will take place from 20 to 24 February 2017 in Moscow at the IEC “Expocentre”.

The signing ceremony will take place at the Messe Frankfurt Ascoli Club on the fairgrounds.

The following representatives will take part in the signing ceremony: Andrey Razbrodin, President of Souzlegprom, Member of the Civil Chamber of the Russian Federation, Olaf Schmidt, Vice-President of Messe Frankfurt GmbH, Eugen Alles, Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt RUS.
