Three-day programme with information-related and networking offers

Focal topic retail: retail area "JETZT!", presentations and TW Fair Fashion Summit

Retail in focus: With "retail" as their focal theme, the latest Greenshowroom and Ethical Fashion Show Berlin (4-6 July 2017) are targeted at retailers. During the three days of the trade fair, the platform for green fashion – now in its new location at the Funkhaus Berlin – will provide a range of attractive information-related and inspirational offers. Presentations, talks, panel discussions, influencer campaigns and get-together events invite visitors to network and provide the latest information on issues relating to future-oriented retailing and sustainability in the fashion industry. Other programme highlights include the two fashion shows "Salonshow" and "Ethical Fashion on Stage".

The central point for the target group of retailers is the retail area "JETZT!". With this area, the trade fair duo presents a conceptual space that integrates sustainable fashion and lifestyle brands into conventional product ranges. The area presents a shop-in-shop concept that can be individually decorated by retailers within a variable space. Greenshowroom and the Ethical Fashion Show Berlin function as a source of ideas with the aim of making access to the topic of sustainable product worlds easier for retailers and motivating them to establish contemporary presentations in their own shops.

At the trade fair for the first time: TW Fair Fashion Summit
The event highlight for retailers occurs on Thursday at 11 a.m.: during the TW Fair Fashion Summit, industry experts discuss the issue of “How to earn money with green fashion” in a practise-based talk. The panel discussion is organised by TextilWirtschaft in cooperation with BTE Handelsverband Textil and will take place on the trade fair exhibition site for the first time. Manufactum will also place the spotlight on the issue of "Retail as a driver of innovation – insights into the development of circular fashion" on Wednesday at 1 p.m. and representatives from FAB Talks will discuss future-oriented developments in the retail segment on Wednesday at 6.30 p.m. together with three experts from various sectors. Beforehand, at 5 p.m., the get-together event "Sustainability Appetizer" will offer best practice examples of sustainable marketing and storytelling on the banks of the Spree. Retailers will get tips on positioning while enjoying snacks and wine from Vin Nature.

Fashion shows on the top floor of the Funkhaus
The fashion show programme for invited guests will also take to the stage for the first time in the Funkhaus. The first floor offers an atmospheric backdrop for this. At the "Salonshow" on Wednesday 5 July at 4.30 p.m., highlights from the following labels can be seen: Biaggi Atelier, C.Pauli, Inti Ferreira, Jungle Folk, Lanius, Laurie Procès – LVMH CSR Young Talent Award, Living Blue, Miss Janna, Somyso and Things I miss. Then at 6.30 p.m., the catwalk show "Ethical Fashion on Stage" will show selected looks by Anukoo Fair Fashion, Anzüglich, Eco Bambou, Greenbomb, Indigo People, Less too late, Miss Green, Naturaline, Organication and Shirts for Life. Wunderwerk will also present a show special comprising its new collection.

Social standards: new book and promotional prize
Two events on the first day of the trade fair will raise awareness of problems in the fashion industry: Safia Minney, eco fashion pioneer and founder of PeopleTree, will present her new book at midday: "Slave to Fashion". From 5 p.m., the Paderborn-based non-profit company cum ratione will take to the podium on the top floor together with INKOTA Netzwerk to present the promotional prize "Spitze Nadel". This honours innovative campaigns that have had a considerable effect on the public and counter poor working conditions in the fashion industry.
PrePeek: reach customers directly via influencers
The second edition of the blogger and influencer campaign "PrePeek" gives exhibitors a direct line of communication to the end customer. Bloggers and influencers will select collection pieces from participating labels, showcase them in photo shoots and write reports about them. The collaborating partners in this promotion are Kleiderei from Hamburg and Fashion Changers.
