From cotton, wool and silk fabrics to linen and denim down to lace, yarns and digital textile printing technologies – Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, the world’s largest sourcing platform for clothing fabrics and accessories, is entering its next round and the earlier date of 27-29 September 2018 is already proving popular. More than 4,000 suppliers are expected to meet over 70,000 professional buyers at the upcoming Autumn Edition.
Highlights include the group pavilions of industry greats like Birla, DuPont, Hyosung, Invista and Lenzing. In the “All About Sustainability” zone, the focus will be on sustainable fabrics, technologies, services and solutions; and in the “Functional Lab” area, everything will revolve around smart textiles, outdoor, sport and performance with leading companies like Aquafil, Nilit, Toray and Unifi. Anyone looking for zippers, buttons, lace and other accessories should head to the “Accessories Vision” area.
As a result of the renovation work taking place in three halls, the upcoming edition will have a newly structured hall layout. Due to the same reason, Yarn Expo has been postponed to the later date of 15-17 August for this season – now coinciding with ITM ASIA + CITME and not with Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics as usual.
