The highlights: On Tuesday evening the “Greenshowroom Selected” fashion show will be presenting a combination of selected styles by the exhibitors of Greenshowroom and Ethical Fashion Show Berlin. For the first time, the show will be taking place within the framework of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week MBFW format, which was launched in January. It will be held at Ewerk Berlin and also screened live at Kraftwerk. On the same evening, the perfect setting for laid-back networking with the exhibitors will be offered by the “Nightshift” event at Kraftwerk Berlin and the “Ginger Party” by Lanius and Weleda. And the “Prepeek powered by Fashion Changers” event will provide a meeting place for the online fashion community: bloggers and influencers will be able to put together individual looks from collection pieces by the exhibiting labels, have their photos taken in them by professional photographers and share the pictures directly on their social media channels.
How can a sustainable fashion industry be promoted by investments in local communities? What opportunities does the trend for traditionally produced textile designs from African and Asian countries offer for the local economy? Where do the fashion, sport and outdoor industries stand on the path to a fair supply chain? Answers to these questions and more will be provided during the tradeshow duo’s various presentations, workshops and discussions. Parallel to this, on 3 July 2018 the FashionSustain conference under the motto “Jump into the Future” will be putting the spotlight on shoes, sneakers, footwear and sustainable leather. On 4 July, Fashiontech will be offering insights into digital solutions for e-commerce, retail and digital marketing in fashion.
