A hotel that should feel like a home away from home, or a new restaurant that feels like a peaceful oasis in the middle of a bustling city. Interior designers, architects and project planners face a number of challenges when turning their visions into a reality. One of their most effective tools to achieve aesthetically and emotionally appealing effects: textiles.
From flame retardant to soundproofing, the textile solutions for interior design, architecture and hotels often have to fulfil very special requirements. Here, functionality, aesthetics, sustainability and building physics are the most important coordinates that define the work of interior designers, architects and project planners. And the new special presentation area entitled Interior. Architecture. Hospitality Expo, initiated by Messe Frankfurt for the first time during Heimtextil Frankfurt from 9-12 January 2018, is dedicated to these special quality and performance requirements. Around 400 exhibitors will be presenting new products and innovations from textiles with an acoustic function or special abrasion-resistance properties down to modular carpets and wall coverings. Under the “customised” theme, the focus is on flexible, individual and customer-oriented solutions. The Expo will be rounded off by a high-quality presentation and training programme for interior designers, architects and hotel designers.
The Interior. Architecture. Hospitality Expo is taking place from 9-12 January 2018 within Heimtextil Frankfurt, the world’s leading trade fair for home and contract textiles. Selected suppliers will be presenting their textile products and material solutions in the exclusive surroundings of this new segment in hall 4.2. The previous edition of Heimtextil Frankfurt in January 2017 attracted almost 70,000 professional visitors from all over the world. A total of 2,963 exhibitors from 67 countries showcased their textile innovations and designs across 20 halls.
