At the fair and conference platform Hypermotion 2017 for example, Messe Frankfurt successfully tested the use of the wireless voice-control assistant Alexa in order to help visitors find their way around during the event and successfully organise their visit.
How can these new interactive options be used effectively? What are the other touchpoints for visitors in the trade fair environment and how can these be designed to meet the needs of future trade fair visitors from Generations X, Y and Z? Messe Frankfurt’s newly established Digital Advisory Board addresses these questions and others associated with the digital transformation of marketing and the development of trade fairs in this regards. The aim: to more accurately analyse exhibitor needs vis-à-vis digital provisions and to work on new ideas and innovations that provide optimal guidance for trade fair visitors. In other words: to improve exhibitor and customer experience through the intelligent use of digital touchpoints.
The Digital Advisory Board includes exhibitors from diverse industries and digital business representatives of Messe Frankfurt. In the business field “Textiles and Textile Technologies”, Alexander Hanel represents the Techtextil exhibitor the RUDOLF GROUP. The board will meet twice a year.
