A success story for the buildtech and mobiltech industries: the Belt and Road project of the People’s Republic of China. Due to the enormous government investments in infrastructure, the textiles market is reporting significant growth. This will also be evident from 4-6 September 2018, when over 460 international exhibitors from around 22 countries and regions will be showcasing their textile innovations at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. And the automobile industry is also profiting: China’s automobile production has been increasing 3% year-on-year and China has become the world’s largest car producer.
An exciting fringe programme will be providing exciting insights into the industry. At the 7th edition of the China International Nonwovens Conference, the focus will be on the newest innovations in the Chinese nonwovens industry, the North American nonwovens market and the relevance of the textiles for hygiene wipes and filter materials. On the first day, the latest trends, developments and standards in the protective textile industry will also be discussed during a panel discussion. Seminars and product presentations of the latest global technologies and market trends, as well as an Innovation Showcase Area, will be presenting a variety of application categories for technical textiles.
