Trade Show: Screen Print India 2020 Mumbai

A responsible decision

Screen Print India 2020 Mumbai will not take place as planned from 24th to 26th April 2020 because of the worldwide spread of the coronavirus and its consequences. Again, the safety of all participants in the trade show is the reason for organiser Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India’s decision. The biennial trade show for printing technologies has been postponed to the later part of the year.

March 2020

Forewarned is forearmed. Screen Print India 2020 Mumbai will not take place as planned in the Bombay Exhibition Center in Mumbai from 24th to 26th April 2020. For the large contingent from China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Switzerland, Singapore, Thailand and the USA expected to participate in the trade show, travel restrictions and visa suspensions make travelling impossible. But what is more important to Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd is the safety and health of exhibitors, visitors, employees and associated stakeholders. “It is a responsible decision and we are happy to have the full support of the industry,” says Raj Manek, executive director and member of the board of Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd.

The printing technologies trade show, which covers screen printing, textile printing, digital printing and sublimation printing, has been postponed to later this year. The new dates will be announced in the coming weeks. The Indian branch of Messe Frankfurt had expected at least 120 exhibitors and around 10,000 visitors at the 15th edition of Screen Print India 2020 Mumbai. The Delhi edition continues to be on schedule for 21st to 23rd August 2020.
