A rethink is going on in the industry. Last year presented trade show organisers with great challenges. Many trade shows had to be postponed or cancelled because of ongoing contact and travelling restrictions. A situation that has however led to innovative and creative approaches, one of which is the hybrid trade show format. Visitors to the next Gartex Texprocess India and Screen Print India can also look forward to both online and on-site offers. From 18th to 21st March 2021, the industries of both trade shows will meet at a new location, Bombay Exhibition Center. And there will also be a digital offer. Exhibitors and visitors can either meet in person as usual, or network on a digital platform.
A varied programme has been planned for the hybrid edition of the trade shows, including matchmarking tools, live broadcasts and chat rooms. “We are delighted to announce our first hybrid venture for the co-located shows – Gartex Texprocess India & Screen Print India that will offer an intelligent combination of digital and physical interactions for business exchange. The textile and printing businesses thrives on the ‘touch-and-feel’ aspect of networking which makes the physical trade fair the number one choice for buyers. However, its virtual features will be the perfect extension to expand exhibitor visibility and networking opportunities with buyers,” says Raj Manek, executive director and member of the board of Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd. Next year’s summer editions of Gartex Texprocess India and Screen Print India will take place from 6th to 8th August 2021.
