With the arrival of the Chinese New Year in springtime, the home textile industry also starts to spring back into action. From 12-14 March 2019, the Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Spring Edition is the perfect occasion to get the new season off to a successful start. The fair’s success is also reflected in the figures: its number of exhibitors has risen to over 300. “We are convinced that this year’s show, with around 30% more exhibitors, will continue to be the main occasion to take advantage of the peak sourcing period for home textiles and finished products in China,” says Wendy Wen, Senior General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd.
Exhibitors from all over the world are presenting a wide palette of products: from bedding and towelling to curtains down to table and kitchen linen. Product displays are providing design inspiration, while regional pavilions and zones are offering a geographical breakdown of the domestic market. Another highlight of the fair is the T-Mall Home Textile Zone, where the leading online shopping platform is presenting high-quality home products by big domestic names. There will also be a series of seminars covering topics like market trends, product applications, the latest technology and material developments.
Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Spring Edition is organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry (CCPIT) and the China Home Textile Association (CHTA). The fair is taking place at the same time as Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, Yarn Expo Spring, PH Value and CHIC at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). The 2018 Spring Edition successfully connected 232 exhibitors with over 20,000 buyers from 68 countries and regions.
