Trade Show Heimtextil Frankfurt

Where editeurs meet decorators

Visionary fabrics. Textile eyecatchers. At Heimtextil Frankfurt 2019, interior decorators and designers can look forward to browsing a concentrated area of products relevant to them.

October 2018

From 8-11 January 2019, everything will be revolving around the future of home textiles at Heimtextil Frankfurt, the largest international trade fair for home and contract textiles. With their designs, which are often developed in-house, textile suppliers, i.e. trading companies that exclusively distribute fabrics, set the latest trends. At the upcoming edition of Heimtextil, all participating textile editeurs will be showcased together in one hall.

“Together with other suppliers of textiles, this will create a fascinating meeting place for interior decorators, furnishers and retailers,” says Sabine Scharrer, Director of Heimtextil at Messe Frankfurt. In the new area, a total of around 40 international fabric suppliers will be showcasing their collections for the coming season. Highlights include the presentations by Alhambra/Tormes Design and Pepa Pastor (both from Spain), CTA, Decobel and Foresti Home Collection Group (all from Italy), Damaceno & Antunes (Portugal), Saum & Viebahn (Germany), N.V. Wind (Belgium), Ifi Aebe (Greece) and Style Library (UK).

Taking place in the same hall is the “Insider” programme, which interior decorators from German-speaking countries are invited to. And with the “Insider Café”, participants will have their own space that provides a range of service offers. Also awaiting visitors is the DecoTeam, an association of German home textile suppliers, which will be showcasing the latest design trends and offering a wide-ranging line-up of events.
