Personal discussions, physical product presentations and valuable inspiration: From 11–14 January 2022, the trade show community will meet at Heimtextil on the Frankfurt trade show grounds. The figures indicate that exhibitors are very much looking forward to face-to-face discussions on location. Around 80 per cent of the exhibitors at Heimtextil 2020 aim to participate in the coming trade show. Falling coronavirus infection rates, successful vaccination drives and the associated relaxing of restrictions worldwide are encouraging signals for a successful restart in winter. “At last, we can see light at the end of the tunnel. And, although this is no reason for euphoria, it gives us a solid ground for taking a positive approach. We have excellent contacts to our international customers who have expressed a great need for personal encounters, a direct exchange of information and new impressions”, says Olaf Schmidt, Vice President Textiles & Textile Technologies, Messe Frankfurt.
The highlights in January: How has the coronavirus pandemic changed our work, our lifestyles, and therefore our homes? The Trend Space in Hall 4.0 showcases tomorrow's furnishing trends, with 'new work' as a key theme of the season. Once again, the director of the Trend Space is Anja Bisgaard Gaede and her team from SPOTT Trends & Business. Hybrid platform: Heimtextil 2022 will include not only physical but also digital product presentations. Interested parties will be able to participate in the livestreams and online discussions which are part of the trade show programme – even if they are unable to be in Frankfurt. In addition, exhibitors and buyers will be able to network and do business throughout the year on the order portal Nextrade.
