From Healthy Living to Feel-Good Fabrics

Whether certified organic, waterproof or flame retardant – Heimtextil expands its range of furniture and decorative fabrics and embraces the top themes in interior textiles.

August 2018

Furniture and decorative fabrics play an important role in interior design – they are able to optimise rooms climatically and acoustically, and decisively improve the feel-good factor. With over 400 international manufacturers, the product range in the upholstery and decorative fabrics as well as upholstery and artificial leather segments at the next Heimtextil from 8 to 11 January 2019 is wider than ever before.

‘The upholstery and decorative fabrics segment has been growing very successfully for several years now. In 2019, all the relevant European suppliers of upholstery and decorative fabrics, upholstery and artificial leather will be presenting themselves across the three levels of hall 4 for the first time”, says Olaf Schmidt, Vice President Textiles & Textile Technologies at Messe Frankfurt. All in all, Heimtextil, with more then 2.900 exhibitors the world’s leading trade show for home and contract textiles, combines the world’s largest and most international range in this segment, thus creating the best order options for buyers from the furniture and home textile industries as well as textiles editeurs. In addition, a design dialogue with the Heimtextil trend managers will provide information on the latest design trends.
