Trade Show: Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles

Celebration time for home textiles

What’s the best way to celebrate one’s 25th birthday? Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles surely thought that one event alone was not enough to celebrate the anniversary of the show’s autumn edition. The result is a diverse trade show programme, which will allow trade visitors to dive into the colourful world of home, healthcare and hospitality textiles.

July 2019

To celebrate its 25th autumn edition, Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles will offer a special top-notch programme for 28th to 31st August 2019 and has invited renowned speakers to the home and commercial textiles event. The jubilee programme divides the trade show into four main areas: Design Inspiration, Business O2O, Textile & Technology and Industry empowerment. Each category will have an associated display area, a forum and events such as round tables and seminars, which will allow trade visitors to engage in discussions about the industry. There will also be tours around the exhibition grounds that lead to topic-related exhibitors.

Design, business, technology and industry. These four sectors are in the spotlight of the textile industry. This autumn edition of Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles promises trade visitors a head start on the latest information while at the same time offering an overview of an ever-changing industry. The Design Inspiration area combines “living” and “textiles”. Designers and architects will give an outlook on coming trends. A talking point for instance will be the integration of traditional crafts into modern lifestyles. Within the Design Inspiration area, Contract Business 360 will cover the vast range of commercial textiles with round tables and guided tours. On a dedicated space, Business O2O will show eight brands, which support companies in selling to Chinese consumers and design studios through online channels. Textile & Technology focuses on new possible digital prints and sustainable designs by means of a Digital Printing Micro Factory and talks on zero-emission design processes.

And for those who after this varied programme haven’t had enough the China Home Textile Trends area offers inspiration for 2020. Registration for the trade show ticket that also included free access to all events of the jubilee programme are open now.
