Every six months, New York Fashion Week marks the start of the international show marathon and attracts the who’s who of the fashion industry to the cosmopolitan city. Even beyond these famous events, the metropolis represents a passion for fashion like no other and it is said that global trends emerge here. This is also backed up by figures from the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), which show that the city has the largest retail market in the USA with an annual turnover of more than 18 billion US dollars. No fashion labels without fabrics: Over the past few years, Texworld USA has established itself as the leading sourcing event on the East Coast. From cotton to functional textiles and knitwear down to lace, more than 300 exhibitors cover the entire fabric spectrum and surprise with innovative structures, material mixes and colour palettes. “Texworld USA is the show to find in-demand, on-trend fabrics at realistic and affordable prices.
