Small crowd, big impact. From 1st to 5th February 2021, visitors to Texworld Evolution Paris - Le Showroom were able to experience the textile industry's newest trends and proposals at first hand. Despite the Corona pandemic and in a pleasant atmosphere. The Atelier was divided into two main areas. At the Trend Forum, trade show art directors Louis Gérin and Grégory Lamaud gave inspiration for the spring/summer season 2022. In the Library, select suppliers presented fabric samples, clothing items and accessories in specially designed areas. From China and Bangladesh to Pakistan: some 2,500 fabrics and products from all major sourcing countries were on showcase in the rooms of Texworld Evolution Paris - Le Showroom. The offer of companies like CF Corporation and Great Duskan from Korea stood out in particular for its innovative materials such as Tencel and Modal cellulose mixes.
Plans are already underway for the next event. Messe Frankfurt France will stage the trade show's next edition at Porte e Versailles in Paris from 5th to 8th July 2021. "The sourcing necessities of the fashion industry will become more and more linear; they want more regular meetings and are in favour of intermediate solutions such as this one, complementary to the trade shows which remain essential,” says Bougeard. Meanwhile, interested parties can view and order products online from the offer presented at the Showroom on the digital sourcing platform developed by Messe Frankfurt France and Foursource.
