Status quo

Due to the rapid spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Europe and the rest of the world, Neonyt exhibitors and visitors will no doubt have a lot of questions about the upcoming event. In its latest press release, Messe Frankfurt is providing an overview of the status quo.

March 2020

The next edition of Neonyt, the global hub for fashion, sustainability and innovation, is scheduled to take place from 30 June until 2 July 2020 during Berlin Fashion Week at Tempelhof Airport. Will it still be happening on this date? And even without the recently cancelled Panorama, will it remain in the same location? These and other questions have been answered by Messe Frankfurt in their latest press release. “We, the management of Messe Frankfurt, are assuming that the situation will have eased by the end of June and that we will be able to hold the event as scheduled in a safe, optimistic and forward-looking environment at Tempelhof Berlin,” it says. But as it is very difficult to make predictions about the future right now, the team behind the event are currently also working on a plan B. By the end of April, a final decision – based on government regulations – is likely to be made as to whether Neonyt can take place as planned, or whether it will have to be postponed. Messe Frankfurt also stated that the recent cancellation of Panorama has no bearing on its plans.
