New dates have been fixed. Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics, Yarn Expo, CHIC and PH Value will once again bring the industry together at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center from 8th to 10th December 2021. The four events were originally scheduled to take place at the beginning of November but were postponed to December due to the current pandemic situation. “With the four shows due to take place shortly, the prudent decision at this stage is to postpone them given the evolving situation around pandemic containment measures. Following the successful A/W Shanghai editions held earlier this month, we are determined to still provide this platform for all our stakeholders which is more focused on the South China and Southeast Asia markets, as well as both the upcoming A/W and S/S seasons,” says Wendy Wen, Senior General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd.
The events' autumn editions in Shanghai were a great success, with some 70,000 visitors attending as well as more than 3,000 exhibitors from 19 countries. Both visitor and exhibitor numbers increased over the previous years. So, there is confidence that the industry will continue to recover. “We of course appreciate the understanding and ongoing support from participants of the fairs as we navigate these uncertain times. The feedback at the Shanghai editions about the domestic market’s strength and the value trade fairs provide for face-to-face encounters was very positive, so we will be doing our best to ensure a safe as well as high-quality business environment in December,” added Wen.
