International demand for products from Africa is on the steady rise. For this reason, SAFLEC, South Africa's Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic) and Cape Town and Western Cape Business Growth Services (Wesgro) will offer interested parties from all over the world the possibility to get insight into Africa's wide variety of products on 20 October 2021, 9am – 1pm, with footwear and bags being the central product category. Products on offer range from comfort footwear and safety shoes to affordable models and include bags, from inexpensive to luxury, made of special and high-quality raw materials.
The footwear and leather goods trade show will be staged as a virtual showroom - it is digital, complies with Covid-19 regulations and is user friendly. More than 30 South African exhibitors will present their products. With a 360-degree viewing experience of the various samples on offer and B2B meetings with potential partners, the best possible conditions are created for the event to come as close as possible to the experience of a physical trade show. Exhibitors include footwear suppliers Angel Footwear, Dick Whittington Shoes and Jim Green and bags and leather goods companies Burgundy Collective, Jodam Manufacturers and One of Each. The virtual showroom will be open on 20 October 2021, 9am – 1pm and can be accessed online for three days after the event. Participation is free.
