Nature dictates the trends

The outlook couldn’t be more up to date. The trends inspiring the spring/summer 2021 season are taken from nature. Battered, endangered, but as powerful as ever, in the context of climate protection and sustainability, nature is a top talking point in the fashion industry. And nature influences the trends for the coming year, which will be on show at textile trade show Texworld Paris from 10th to 13th February 2020.

Respiration. Abnegation. Contemplation. Evolution. These four nature-inspired topics define the materials and colours of the upcoming spring/summer season, summarised by Texworld art directors Louis Gérin and Grègory Lamaud in the Setback Trendbook. Each topic will have a dedicated area in the Trends Forum at Texworld Paris in hall 4 of Le Bourget Exhibition Center in Paris. A fifth area will serve as an introduction to the single topics and is committed to their joint issue sustainability.

Texworld Paris is part of „Fairyland for Fashion”, the event, which unites the leading sourcing event with the other five textile trade shows run by Messe Frankfurt France -Apparel Sourcing Paris, Avantex Paris, Leatherworld Paris, Shawls & Scarves Paris and Texworld Denim Paris.
