Trade Show: Gartex Texprocess India

Debut in denim

After the strategic alliance between Gartex India and Texprocess India in the spring, Gartex Texprocess will now take place for the first time from 10th to 12th August 2019. A special exhibit in the “Denim Application” area is to symbolise the crucial importance of jeans production for India.

August 2019

A denim wrapped car is one of the highlights of Gartex Textprocess India, symbolising India’s growing denim industry. In form of talks and showcases during the trade show from 10th to 12th August 2019, this industry will be under scrutiny also in terms of sustainability. As a result of Gartex India partnering with Texprocess India, the entire textile supply chain will be covered in a single event. At the beginning of the year, the clothing and textile trade show merged with Messe Frankfurt India’s international textile production trade show to form the industry platform Gartex Texprocess India, extending the Texpertise network of Messe Frankfurt.

In order to offer a holistic overview of the fashion and textile industry, organisers Messe Frankfurt and MEX Exhibitions have come up with an extensive trade show programme and numerous themed segments. In the “DenimTalk” sessions, visitors gain insight into the significance of sustainability for innovative jeans production technologies. For India, the world’s second biggest supplier of jeans fabrics, sustainability issues are of uppermost importance. Whether at the “Embroidery” and 2Garmenting & Apparel Machinery” areas or the “India Laundry Show”, products and information offered cover all aspects of production. In addition to the latest machines, buyers can also source raw materials and haberdashery as well as logistics and packaging solutions.
