From 19th to 21st October 2021, Allfashion Sourcing Cape Town will open a hybrid showroom that will bring together players from the entire textile, fashion and leather goods industries, on-site as well as online. “It is important that we find innovative ways to help companies market their brand to a targeted audience of potential buyers in a cost-effective way. For this reason and to continue the quest to support the textile, leather, footwear and fashion industries in Southern Africa, allfashion sourcing Cape Town will open its 2021 event as a hybrid edition“, says Kathryn Frew, Show Director at Allfashion Sourcing Cape Town. The event, which will be a live event and also be accessible online, offers exhibitors an alternative networking platform that makes sure they continue to be present on the global stage.
Varied samples will be presented in the showroom that have been fitted with QR codes. Buyers on-site can view the goods, scan the codes and so directly contact exhibitors, who are not present at the trade show. This process helps reduce the number of people on-site and thus safeguard the health and security of all participants. The trade show programme includes various highlights such as trend talks on womenswear and menswear, sustainability workshops, fashion shows, B2B meetings and a lot more. “The showroom and seminar content have been carefully crafted to enhance both the exhibitor and visitor experience. We understand that it is difficult to predict the way forward for traditional exhibitions. But we are excited to deliver a platform which provides an opportunity for buyers to source products from a variety of manufacturers and suppliers,” adds Frew.
