With its huge population, increasing product quality and growing economy, China offers increasingly attractive business opportunities. Textile products made in China are also much more high-end than they used to be. At the autumn edition of Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, exhibitors and buyers from Europe and Asia will get together from 9th to 11th October 2021 to exchange views and information about the latest industry trends. “We’ve seen a growing sense of product value among consumers, which generates increasing demand for higher quality products in the Chinese market. In other words, quality and value are prevailing over price, which we consider a good thing,” says Hiroomi Fujinami, who works for Iris Co Ltd.
One of the trade show's highlights is the Japanese pavilion with 36 companies including two exhibitors, who will present at the event for the first time. The area stands out for its inventive designs featuring traditional patterns on fabrics that are made from select natural and polyester fibres. The Japanese country stand includes companies like Marusa Co Ltd, Nikke Textile Co Ltd and Iris Co Ltd. Apart from the Japanese pavilion, there will also be Taiwanese and Korean pavilions. Salon Europe includes German, French, Italian, Swiss and British country stands.
The autumn edition of Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics will run alongside Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles Autumn, Yarn Expo Autum, CHIC and PH Value at Shanghai's National Exhibition and Convention Center from 9th to 11th October 2021.
